It’s that time of the year again! As schools gear up for their terminal exams, let’s come together to support our young learners.
At VSWS, our dedicated volunteers are going above and beyond to ensure our students grasp the fundamental concepts of Maths, English, Hindi, and Science.
But it’s not just about the subjects; it’s about igniting a genuine passion for learning. Let’s join hands and empower the next generation!
VSWS volunteers recently hosted a painting competition for underprivileged children, and the results were nothing short of breathtaking! These young artists unleashed their boundless creativity and imagination on canvas, turning simple colors into vibrant stories.
Through such initiatives, we aim to empower these talented minds, giving them wings to soar and express themselves. It’s incredible to witness the magic that happens when opportunity meets potential.
Thank you to everyone who supported this endeavor. Together, we can continue to nurture these young talents and create a brighter, more colorful future for all.
This is Bhanu Pratap Singh Chauhan. When we first met him in a train compartment, he seemed like a normal child until he needed to use the loo and his father had to assist him as he couldn’t manage on his own.
It was then that his mother told us his lower back is paralyzed, and he cannot play, dance, or walk independently. We spoke with them for the rest of the journey and learned that he has only a few years left as they have no money for his treatment.
Our team sprang into action. We contacted doctors across the city, spoke to the administration, and after a tedious 20-day process, we were able to secure his admission to AIIMS Delhi. The Collector of Indore, Mr. Illayya Raja, provided a check for Rs 50,000 for his wheelchair and tickets.
We share this to show that when you move forward with good intentions, the path often clears itself. We have arranged drawing classes for Bhanu, as he is gifted with creativity, and he is currently in Delhi for his treatment.
It was a wonderful experience to be a part of the annual day celebration of Shiksha Foundation. The children performed various events and extracurricular activities to showcase their talents. Thanks to Sarita Bindal ji for inviting me to this beautiful event.
