Organ Donation Awareness Camp Organized on July 27th, 2024
As part of World Organ Donation Week, Vijay Social Welfare Society and Indore Organ Donation Organization, in collaboration with Prestige Institute of Management and Research, Indore, organized an awareness session for organ donation. Dr. Manish Purohit and Dr. Nidhi Mishra from Mahatma Gandhi Medical College, along with several members of the Indore Organ Donation Organization, were present at the event.
Dr. Bakre, Director of Prestige Institute of Management, and all the staff members attended the event. Dr. Manish Purohit provided detailed information on the importance of organ donation, the myths associated with it, and the process of organ donation. Questions from the attendees were also addressed during the program.
At the end of the program, an oath for organ donation was administered. Madhuri Moyde from Vijay Social Welfare Society mentioned that the coordinator of this program was Mr. Mridul Tare. The organization honored three individuals, Ms. Lata Gurjar, Mr. Soni, Mr. Ashok Temle, and Mr. Om Prakash Verma, who had donated organs, to inspire others.
